Flexible layout, flawless execution
A transformation with flexibility at its core, this penthouse renovation in Surfers Paradise reimagined two separate apartments as one flowing, luxurious home. Joined by a central hallway, the layout was cleverly adapted to suit both independent living and unified use with a consistent design language running from room to room.
Working closely with the clients designer, we delivered a space that balances coastal serenity with elevated detail.
“Every element in this penthouse was considered with purpose from the ground up. It’s a space that feels light, and effortlessly connected.”

Spaces Reimagined - From Kitchen to Bath and Beyond
This dual-apartment renovation brought two formerly separate penthouses together under one cohesive vision. Clean lines, soft light, and natural textures flow uninterrupted from space to space.
In both kitchens, material choices and cabinetry styles were mirrored to create continuity across the layout. Timber-toned joinery adds warmth, while mirrored splashbacks reflect skyline light and open the compact spaces with a sense of depth. Dual stainless steel sinks, pair with chrome Fienza Kaya mixers for understated function that aligns with the broader design language.
The bathrooms continue the same sense of calm cohesion. Full-height grey tiles bring a soft texture to the walls, while white Timberline Dolce Hampton vanities offer timeless structure beneath arched-edge mirrors. Fienza Luciana mixers in chrome and twin Stella rail showers were selected for their clean lines and durability, framed by toughened glass panels. One fully frameless, the other with a semi-frameless pivot screen for ease of access.
These are rooms designed to support daily life with quiet confidence, not visual noise. This was a transformation rooted in flow and function, allowing two homes to become one with grace.
